Class of 2023 Middletown South FO/MF star Beau Servidio has team primed for state run

 

Beau Servidio has been one of the key players in the continuance of the Middletown South boys lacrosse team’s New Jersey Shore Conference dominance.

 

The Eagles have started 2022 at 9-5 in the ultra-competitive Shore A North Division, after a 12-5 campaign in 2021. Middletown South will be looking to make a deeper run in the state tournament this year, and Servidio will be the key.

 

The junior midfielder is also the faceoff player for the Eagles, and he is one of the best in the league. Up against some very talented players at the X, Servidio is winning more than 60 percent of his faceoffs, and has added in eight goals so far in 2022. In his sophomore season, he scored six goals and added nine assists, and also won 67 percent of his faceoffs.

 

Off the field, Servidio has also shown why he is such a well-rounded student-athlete. He has a 3.8 GPA, and that number could get up to a 4.0 after the grades settle for this academic year. Servidio has also posted a 1270 on his SAT, which may also go up in the coming months.

“Lacrosse in New Jersey is all about faceoff players, and Servidio is turning into one of the best around the Shore Conference. He has such quick hands, and he is getting stronger each year. He is also a talented middie in the team, and will find a way to chip in with a big goal or assist when his team needs one.

 

“But make no mistake about it: his value is at the X. He is only going to get better in the offseason as well, and 2023 could be even better for Servidio and Midd South.”

 

Servidio is going to carry the Eagles as far as he can in the state tournament, and they might be flying high come early June.
